As a Men's Coffee & Chat Group Facilitator Volunteer, you will be providing social support for approx. 6 clients. You will facilitate meaningful conversations in a caring and open group format. Sessions are every Wednesday from 1.30 - 3pm in Elizabeth Bay. Please note - this is a MALE IDENTIFIED ROLE. Whether you're sitting together, listening to music, or simply chatting, your presence can bring comfort and connection. 🤝☕ Volunteer with us and help brighten someone’s world with your time and kindness.

1. Able to commit every 2nd Wednesday from 9am-3pm on an ongoing basis. 2. Ability to walk the planned routes comfortably. 3. A mobile phone. 4. Reliable and able to commit for a period, for example, 12 months. 5. Good organisation skills including an eye for detail. 6. Ability to understand map routes for walk outings. 7. Familiar with public transport use and timetables.

To bring joy and social connection to older men by visiting them in a residential home. Approximately an hour weekly/fortnightly at a time to suit both of you. Volunteering under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme you will make a difference in the life of older people by helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation improve their overall wellbeing.
